Team Introduction TikTok LIVE - Regional Operations (Japan) is dedicated to empowering a safe, authentic, and inclusive live streaming environment. Role Overview This role focuses on designing content-driven live-streaming events based on vertical content insights. By integrating content planning, event mechanics, and resource coordination, the Event POC strengthens the synergy between content capability and event mechanisms, ultimately enhancing creators' traffic, engagement, and revenue performance. Responsibilities 1. Content-Driven Event System Development: Design live-streaming event formats with high content relevance across different vertical categories to enhance user viewing experience and engagement through content-centric event structures, while building and continuously iterating a systematic methodology for content-driven event operations. 2. Viewer & Revenue-Oriented Event Design: Develop event mechanisms that drive viewing behavior, engagement time, and revenue conversion, while taking ownership of event performance metrics and conducting structured post-event analysis to optimize frameworks and strategies. 3. Event Planning, Execution & Promotion: Lead end-to-end event planning from a content perspective, including concept design, execution, and promotional strategy, while coordinating cross-functional resources to ensure execution quality, timeline alignment, and goal achievement. 4. Innovation & Industry Exploration: Continuously explore new live-streaming event formats and operational models to drive systematic integration between content capabilities and event mechanisms, while supporting creator growth and contributing to the long-term health of the live-streaming content ecosystem.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications 1. Language: Business-level proficiency in Japanese is mandatory to effectively communicate with local creators, partners, and audiences in the Japan market, and to develop content and event strategies that resonate with local cultural nuances. Business-level proficiency in Chinese is required for seamless collaboration with product, operations, and cross-functional teams based in China, as this role involves close coordination on event mechanism design, promotional strategy alignment, and performance review discussions. Business-level proficiency in English is required to collaborate with regional and global stakeholders on cross-market event initiatives and to share best practices across the broader organization. 2. Content & Event Acumen: Strong understanding of live-streaming content and event mechanics, with solid planning capabilities and proven experience in managing full-cycle event projects that deliver measurable viewing and revenue results. 3. Mindset: Innovative mindset with strong iteration capability and a data-driven approach to performance optimization. Preferred Qualifications 1. Experience in the entertainment, advertising, or television production industries.
