Responsibilities
About the team As the Safety Labelling Team Lead, you will be responsible for managing the overall quality of labelling by establishing effective strategies, frameworks and processes. You will manage a team of quality assurance specialists and drive continuous improvements by evaluating key project metrics. Additionally, you will play a key role in ensuring a strong understanding of labelling policies within your team and relevant cross-functional stakeholders in the business. Our frontline teams interact with images, video, text related to every-day life, but it can also include (but is not limited to) bullying; hate speech; child safety; depictions of harm to self and others, and harm to animals. Responsibilities 1. Grow the labeling team and oversee their day-to-day management 2. Continuously evaluate outcomes, propose improvements, and ensure a high level of productivity and quality 3. Strengthen the team's understanding of labeling policies and the target of labeling 4. Responsible for localizing working processes and strategies, manage the labeling projects with the Safety Specialists and provide the labeling results in line with expectations 5. Please note that this position involves exposure to sensitive content, including but not limited to vulgar content, violence, pornography, and fake news
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications 1. Bachelor's Degree or equivalent education/experience, advanced degree is preferred 2. 3+ years experience working on content quality or safety in a major tech or media company 3. Minimum 1 year working experience in team management Preferred Qualifications 1. Deep understanding of online safety, privacy, and expression issues 2. Strong attention to details and ability to work independently 3. Possesses good interpersonal skills 4. Proficient in English. 5. Your ability to work in a high-tempo environment, adapt, and respond to the day-to-day challenges of the role. 6. Your resilience and commitment to self-care to manage the emotional demands of the role.
