Responsibilities
Our Trust & Safety team's commitment is to keep our online community safe. We have invested heavily in human and machine based moderation to remove harmful content quickly and often before it reaches our general community. It is possible that this role will be exposed to harmful content as part of the core role/as part of project/ in response to escalation requests/by chance. This may occur in the form of images, video, and text related to every-day life, but it can also include (but is not limited to) bullying; hate speech; child safety; depictions of harm to self and others, and harm to animals. The Search Operations team aims to improve search user experience, contribute significant DAU impact to the products and drive for increase in traffic and GMV. It is possible that this role will be exposed to harmful content as part of the core role/as part of project/ in response to escalation requests/by chance. The new Group Leader will be responsible for growing and scale large teams via internal development mechanism, and manage a group of team leaders with a variety of experience levels. The group leader will also maintain customer relationships, improving response and delivery times as well as increasing the efficiency of existing processes and procedures to enhance the company's internal capacity. What I will be doing: - Lead, motivate, and support a large team within a time-sensitive and demanding environment, including operational delivery, problem resolution, change management, performance management and career development. - Support clear expectation setting, including planning, monitoring, appraising, and reviewing job contributions to helping the team to achieve their full potential, maintain high standards & quality of work and a strong delivery. - Manage data collection for the updating of metrics to achieve productivity targets, reduce cost per unit, eliminate errors, and deliver excellent data delivery service. - Develop effective and efficient cross functional partnerships, to support the operations and influence action. - Create, develop and maintain Training Management related items for onsite teams, such as onboarding plans, knowledge enablement scores, training success rate. - Work closely with a number of cross functional departments, including legal and safety departments to ensure compliance.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications - Bachelor's Degree or equivalent education/experience, advanced degree is preferred. - Minimum 2 years Leadership experience managing managers and scaled operations teams, within Trust &Safety/Tech or similar field. - Demonstrated experience of growing and scaling large teams in a fast paced environment and conducting strong quality management. Preferred Qualifications - Excellent communication skills and proven record of effective collaboration with global partners and XFN stakeholders regionally and globally. - Possesses excellent interpersonal skills and demonstrates sound judgment, as well as training and coaching skills. - Strong analytical skills with the ability to perform complex data analysis to derive key insights - Ability to develop strategies, prioritise projects, and ensure the delivery of high quality work under time constraints.
