About The Team We are seeking a creative and performance marketing-oriented marketer to lead Global Gaming Marketing, reporting into our Head of North America Business Marketing & Global Gaming Marketing The Global Gaming Marketing lead will oversee a tight, globally dispersed team of marketing solutions and GTM marketers whose remit is partnering with gaming brands and advertisers in establishing TikTok as THE launchpad for games. The ideal candidate has direct gaming industry experience, deep knowledge of performance marketing and clarity on where the industry is headed. This role calls for a no-siloes, non-hierarchial, highly collaborative leader with a global mindset. This lead is pragmatic, hands-on and able to inspire a team of direct reports + partner teams within GBM and XFNs to collaborate and deliver the mission and objectives of the Global Gaming Org. This is a global team that was built from the ground up just in 2023, and continues to deliver with excellence with a highly entrepreneurial mentality. Keen business understanding, highly strategic mindset, mastery of cross functional alignment and a collaborative spirit are critical to the role. Having a finger on the pulse of gaming culture to creatively showcase the business impact TikTok is having on the gaming marketing community is key. Finally, a highly collaborative approach with the rest of the GBM GG org as well as ONE GBM, RBMs, GBS and other XFNs is paramount. Having an entrepreneurial spirit, the ability to do more with less, but most importantly, the passion to build a global business are core to how we operate. Responsibilities - With input from the GM - Global Gaming and Head of North America Business Marketing & Global Gaming Marketing, ensure laser-focused prioritization of marketing activities tied to business priorities. - Serve as a BUSINESS partner to the Global Gaming org, going beyond a Marketing partner - Lead the Gaming on TikTok B2B brand and synergize efforts with the Global Content, Live, other XFN teams to ensure successful impact. - Own the global gaming narrative in-market and how we're positioning ourselves to win; Speak at conferences and with media to bring this value proposition to life - Ensure strong product understanding across our performance product solutions, creative solutions and branding product solutions; Partner with cross-functional teams including GBS, GMPT, GMPT-Creative, MarSci, SE, MSO to align OKRs, and KPIs that speak to business impact - showcase strength at alignment and execution across internal R&R - Identify key initiatives that would accelerate revenue, manage the XP, Mobile KA verticals to drive (1) research (2) education at scale (3) Active adoption (scale to Growth); partner with XFNs on go-to-market strategies and deliver programs that accelerate revenue and market penetration. - Deep industry knowledge as it continues to evolve; join senior level meetings/discussions in partnership with GBS to be immersed in understanding and determining how to address gaming client needs - Develop talent; ensure individuals continue to represent a diverse set of backgrounds and have pathways for continuous learning and development. - Build on operating model for the team that ensures high collaboration within GBM GG, larger GBM org and beyond, excellent standards of work and ensuring stakeholders informed of plans, progress, and outcomes in a humble, efficient manner. - Provide learnings and iterative feedback to both product and marketing teams to help improve our marketing programs and product solutions. - Provide regular executive updates that speak to measurable business results; adapt and pivot as needed based on data-driven learnings.


Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications - Leadership experience in marketing with strong knowledge of the gaming industry, performance marketing, and media strategy. - Experience working with both B2B & B2C customers in a global environment. - Proven leadership in growing and building teams in a matrixed environment. - Strong presentation and collaboration skills, with the ability to work independently and as a team across different departments, XFNs and markets. Preferred Qualifications - Self starter and problem solver with demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment. - Appetite for learning, innovation, and to lean into change and thrive in a fast paced environment. 【For Pay Transparency】Compensation Description (annually)

The base salary range for this position in the selected city is $14100 - $270000 annually.

Compensation may vary outside of this range depending on a number of factors, including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies and experience, and location. Base pay is one part of the Total Package that is provided to compensate and recognize employees for their work, and this role may be eligible for additional discretionary bonuses/incentives, and restricted stock units.
