Responsibilities
We are seeking a 3PL Operations Manager to drive and manage relationships with key logistics partners. In this role, you will be responsible for developing strong collaborations with third-party logistics providers (3PLs), carriers, and supply chain partners to optimize efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and service quality. You will play a crucial role in scaling our logistics network, optimizing cost, and ensuring operational excellence. Job Responsibilities: - Manage relationships with logistics partners. - Negotiate contracts and service-level agreements (SLAs) with logistics providers to ensure optimal cost and service balance. - Collaborate with internal teams to align logistics partnerships with business objectives, including procurement, operations. - Monitor and evaluate partner performance through key performance indicators (KPIs) and initiate improvements where necessary. - Develop and implement strategies to enhance supply chain efficiency, reduce costs, and improve delivery timelines. - Stay up to date with industry trends, emerging logistics technologies, and best practices to maintain a competitive advantage. - Resolve any logistical issues or disputes with partners while maintaining strong, professional relationships. - Ensure compliance with regulations and company policies regarding logistics operations.
Qualifications
Minimum Requirements: - Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Logistics, or a related field. - Strong negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills. - Experience working with e-commerce as 3PL Manager, have experience in managing 3PLs cost and performance. Preferred Requirements: - Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret logistics data and drive improvements. - Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities. - Problem-solving skills with a proactive and strategic approach to logistics challenges.
