About the Role We're looking for a skilled acquisition sales leader to join as a High Value Acquisitions Sales Lead for our North American SMB team. This leader will oversee an acquisition sales team, driving growth in our fast-growing SMB new business segment. You will manage a team that supports innovative acquisition and onboarding best practices across a diverse set of new customers, focusing on driving revenue and product adoption. You will build and empower your team to test a variety of services to understand the effectiveness in addressing advertiser needs. Our ideal candidate will have demonstrated success in the leadership and optimization of acquisition sales, and the ability to work cross-functionally to identify and capitalize on opportunities. Responsibilities: - Drive revenue for TikTok by acquiring and onboarding a variety of direct clients and agencies. - Drive strategies within the team related to product adoption and educating clients and agencies in a scalable fashion. - Ensure that our clients receive the highest level of sales and operational customer service experience. - Establish a structure that empowers ongoing, sustainable growth. - Partner cross-functionally to identify new strategic scalable opportunities for the High Value Acquisition sales team; develop and manage complex SMB sales & service projects from problem definition to final execution; optimize the process to ensure timely and effective delivery. - Manage, mentor, and develop a high-performing acquisition sales team.


Qualifications

Minimum qualifications: - 5+ years experience in online acquisition marketing, sales, and product solutions for small businesses, and 2+ years of direct people management experience. - Experience working with small businesses and developing strategies to scale services and support. - Data-driven, capable of in-depth data interpretation. - Leadership experience engaging and influencing at an executive level with cross-functional groups. - Proven track record of building, developing, and leading high-performance acquisition teams. - Excellent communicator and comfortable managing multiple tasks. - Strong executive presence and ability to work under pressure. - Proven track record of reaching and exceeding sales goals. Preferred qualifications: - Expert knowledge of social media, mobile apps, and digital and mobile marketing. - Knowledge of the self-serve platform, auction, and biddable form of digital advertising buying. - Experience leading acquisition sales or account management teams within the SMB space. - Passion for TikTok marketing, and up for the challenge of building something from the bottom up.
