About the Team The success of TikTok's data business model hinges on the supply of a large volume of high quality labeled data that will grow exponentially as our business scales up. However, the current cost of data labeling is excessively high. The Data Solutions team is built to understand data strategically at scale for all Global Business Solution (GBS) business needs. Data Solutions Team uses quantitative and qualitative data to guide and uncover insights, turning our findings into real products to power exponential growth. Data Solutions Team responsibility includes infrastructure construction, recognition capabilities management, global labeling delivery management. About the Role The User Segment Analyst plays a strategic role in scaling and optimizing our global crowdsourcing efforts. Sitting at the intersection of marketing, operations, and project delivery, you will lead efforts to attract and onboard high-quality contributors—especially in new or underserved markets where brand recognition is minimal. Your primary focus will be to develop and execute go-to-market strategies that overcome cold-start challenges, using a mix of digital campaigns, grassroots outreach, and data-driven experimentation to build initial momentum. Beyond acquisition, you'll optimize the contributor journey, using automation to increase onboarding efficiency and long-term engagement. You will also be responsible for tracking KPIs and analyzing funnel performance, and translating insights into actionable improvements. Responsibilities 1. Cold-Start Market Strategy - Develop and execute go-to-market strategies to source crowdsourcers in brand-new regions or demographics with no prior brand recognition. Use creative growth tactics, grassroots outreach, and data-driven experimentation to build trust and generate early traction. 2. Crowdsourcer Acquisition Campaigns - Design and manage paid and organic campaigns across digital channels (e.g., social, search, referral) to attract high-quality contributors. Apply targeting, A/B testing, and performance marketing techniques to refine messaging and maximize sign-up rates. 3. Funnel Optimization & Lead Nurturing - Develop and manage the end-to-end onboarding funnel—from sign-up to activation. Use marketing automation, retargeting, and personalized content to move prospects through the funnel efficiently and ensure they are ready to begin tasks. 4. Analytics & Performance Tracking - Set KPIs for recruitment and onboarding success. Using analytical tools like CRM dashboards, and funnel reports to monitor campaign effectiveness and identify opportunities for continuous improvement. 5. Collaboration & Workflow Improvement - Partner with project managers and operations teams to refine contributor personas, improve onboarding materials, and align marketing strategies with evolving project needs. 6. Contributor Support & Engagement - Build communication strategies to keep contributors informed, motivated, and aligned with project goals. Address concerns proactively and create feedback loops to improve satisfaction and retention.


Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications 1. 1-3 years experience in user acquisition or growth marketing, especially in managing campaigns targeting diverse online segments 2. Strong analytical skills, aptitude to independently learn new technologies; 3. Fluent in English (written and verbal). Preferred Qualifications 1. Excellent problem-solving, task prioritization, follow-up, and eager learner; 2. Project coordination/ project support experience and cross-department communication skills; 3. Ability to use basic SQL and scripting languages (Python, R) are preferred; 4. Good information analysis, data deep dive and interpretation capability.
