Responsibilities

About the team This role sits within the E-Commerce Governance and Experience team. This team is responsible for ensuring our marketplace is safe and trustworthy for not only users, but also sellers and creators. We value user experience and work on policies, rules, products and systems to ensure quality. We're looking for a Large Model Operations and Application Program Manager to drive programs which will ultimately improve Global E-commerce efficiency. Responsibilities 1. Strategic Leadership in running Model Applications programs for E-commerce Governance: - Devise and execute a strategy for applying large models in international e-commerce governance, especially in risk management (detection, response, mitigation). - Use large model tech to improve governance efficiency and quality, accurately identify and resolve risks like compliance issues. 2. Policy Guideline Management: - Take charge of drafting, revising, and managing policy guidelines for large model alignment in ecommerce. - Evaluate guideline effectiveness regularly, using data and feedback to update them. 3. Lead a project team which focuses on Model Development, Iteration, and Optimization: - Oversee large model development, ensuring designs meet business and tech standards. - Lead model iteration by gathering feedback, analyzing data, and optimizing based on business needs and tech progress. - Coordinate cross-departmental work among data scientists, algorithm managers, and product managers. - Set and monitor KPIs for model performance improvement. - Explore and implement new ML and AI tech to enhance model accuracy, efficiency, and scalability. - Collaborate with technical and product teams during quality checks and calibration. 4. Market Trend Analysis and Product Strategy: - Monitor technology trends and market advancements for product strategy and development roadmap design. - Identify product-market relevance based on market demands and technological developments. 5. External Research and Best Practice Implementation: - Lead research to identify best practices and domain expertise. - Apply user-need-based methods in product development for better user experience and business growth.


Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications 1. Have a deep understanding of alignment methods like SFT, RLHF, etc. 2. Strong analytical, communication and project management skills, capable of identifying valuable product improvement suggestions from evaluation data and driving implementation. 3. Sensitivity to content with excellent abstract thinking and logical reasoning abilities, proficient in case analysis. 4. Professional language proficiency, strong logical thinking, innovative spirit, and robust project management skills. 5. A keen interest in the field of large language models, willing to actively explore in areas such as large language models/AIGC. Preferred Qualifications 1. Experience in managing projects with direct impact on regional or global P&L. 2. Demonstrated ability to combine business judgment with data insights to solve ambiguous problems and drive growth.
