Team Introduction TikTok LIVE - Regional Operations (Japan) is dedicated to empowering a safe, authentic, and inclusive live streaming environment. Role Overview This role is focused on constructing a scalable ecosystem to nurture the growth of mid- and long-tail creators. By integrating community operations, innovative mechanism design, and close collaboration with product teams, the Creator Manager will expand the effective coverage of target creators and establish replicable incubation models. This position is pivotal in systematically accumulating and standardizing live-streaming operational methodologies for long-term success. Responsibilities 1. Creator Operations System Development: Design, build, and continuously optimize the operational framework for mid- and long-tail creators to improve activity rates, retention, and effective live-stream coverage through targeted community operations and audience segmentation management, while standardizing workflows and SOPs tailored to mid-tier creators to enable scalable replication across the ecosystem. 2. Growth Strategy & Mechanism Design: Devise differentiated operational strategies and growth trajectories based on creators' lifecycle stages, and explore scalable "Top-driven Growth" mechanisms by leveraging product capabilities such as multi-guest features and lineup formats, while leading initiatives through structured project management with ongoing performance evaluation and iterative optimization. 3. Content Operations & Methodology Development: Cultivate a deep understanding of live-streaming content dynamics and creator engagement strategies to extract, document, and disseminate repeatable content operation methodologies that help creators enhance their content quality and monetization capabilities, while standardizing and optimizing key operational modules such as showcase programs to ensure consistency and effectiveness. 4. Product Collaboration & AI Enablement: Collaborate closely with Product and cross-functional teams to integrate AI-powered creator suggestions and content assistance tools into daily operational workflows, and provide structured feedback and strategic recommendations to inform product feature optimization from an operational perspective.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications 1. Language: Business-level proficiency in Japanese, and business-level proficiency in English or Chinese is required, because the role is required for seamless collaboration with product, operations, and cross-functional teams based in China, as this role involves close coordination with these teams on product feature development, AI tool implementation, and strategic alignment. 2. Experience & Skills: Strong community management and creator communication skills, with a solid understanding of the creator ecosystem and platform mechanics. 3. Strategic Thinking: Familiarity with mechanism-driven growth models (e.g., top-driven strategies) and a strong project management mindset. 4. Analytical Ability: Data-driven mindset with foundational analytical skills and a strong results orientation. 5. Content Acumen: Deep understanding of live-streaming content dynamics and the ability to systematize operational methodologies. Preferred Qualifications 1. Experience in the entertainment, advertising, field marketing, or online sales industries. 2.Proven experience working cross-functionally with product teams to influence feature development based on operational needs.
