Team Introduction TikTok continues to unlock opportunities for artists and labels, with a brilliantly engaged community who love to build connections with artists and their music. The team is working globally and locally with artists, managers and labels to unleash the promotional and marketing power of TikTok, helping talents to secure success on the platform, music streamings, hit charts and brand collaborations. What's SoundOn SoundOn is a music distributor that allows musicians to distribute their music work directly to TikTok products and other DSPs. Our vision is to nurture the local independent artists by supporting them in distribution, promotion, and career development Responsibilities - Leverage data analysis to discover potential viral tracks and trends, so as to create viral songs on the platform. - Manage and execute music promotion campaigns on TikTok, including creator campaigns and XFN collaborations such as TikTok effects, templates, hashtags, etc. - Work with account managers to provide music promotion strategies to artist/label partners. - Build connections and manage Japan TikTok creators via both agency partnership and hands-on operations such as 1:1 communication and group chats. - Develop creative concepts for influencer marketing campaigns, analyze key campaign statistics and data points to measure campaign success and evaluate campaign ROI, and guide productization. - Collaborate with global music teams to promote Japanese artists and songs globally or offer local promotional support for international artists.


Qualifications

Minimum qualifications - Proficient in Japanese - 3+ years of experience in music promotion with a focus on digital area. - Using short video platforms for 3+ years, and sensitive to viral trends. - In-depth understanding of the Japanese music and TikTok ecosystem. - Excellent communication and negotiation skills - Familiarity with data-driven decision-making to improve campaign performance - Well-organized, dedicated, with the ability to plan and deliver on tight deadlines and pay outstanding attention to detail Preferred Qualifications - Business level English skill. - Knowledge of 360 music marketing, across different digital platforms and social media. - Deep understanding of JP music and artists.
