About the Team The New Feature Safety Business Partner (BP) team is a small yet powerful group that bridges the Trust and Safety team with TikTok’s rapidly expanding business units. Our mission is to empower these teams with tailored and efficient safety and integrity solutions, ensuring their sustainable growth. In this role, you’ll have a unique opportunity to be directly involved in the creation of new TikTok features from the very beginning. This position offers unmatched experience in developing a career in trust and safety, providing deep insights into end-to-end safety features and strategies. You’ll work closely with R&D and Algorithm teams to enhance models, collaborate with global operations to refine human moderation strategies, and partner with policy teams to explore platform policy iterations. This role places you at the cutting edge of industry practices in trust and safety, making your contributions vital to the safety of billions of users worldwide. Responsibilities - Design tailored safety solutions, including user-facing tools and strategies, based on the unique characteristics of emerging TikTok features. Set success metrics and collaborate across the organization to implement action plans. - Independently drive multiple complex projects simultaneously, establishing a robust workflow for seamless cross-team collaboration. - Utilize industry insights, user research, and data analysis to track the effectiveness of safety measures. Identify potential areas for improvement, prioritize effectively, and iterate using appropriate methodologies. - Define the long-term product roadmap for a scalable and efficient safety system for new features.


Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications - Bachelor's degree or above, with 5+ years of product management experience in Consumer-Facing mobile or web Internet companies; - Strong project management and communication skills, with the ability to manage multiple stakeholders across different time zones and influence global cross-functional teams. - Proven experience in designing product solutions based on data and research, with expertise in analyzing and improving product designs. - Hands-on experience identifying and optimizing performance to improve product quality and user experience. Preferred Qualifications - Experience in Trust and Safety and understanding the landscape and new policy development and implementation; - Familiar with agile project management skills, recommendation system and ML; - Experience in organizing and coordinating large-scale projects; - Experience of working with global partners. - Your ability to work in a high tempo environment, adapt, respond to day-to-day challenges of the role. - Your resilience and commitment to self-care to manage the emotional demands of the role. #LI-Hybrid
