About the Team The Global e-commerce team is a content e-commerce business utilizing international short video products as carriers. Our aim is to become the preferred choice for users seeking to discover and purchase affordable, high-quality products. We provide users with tailored, vibrant, and efficient consumption experiences while enabling merchants to access robust and dependable platform services in various scenarios, such as live e-commerce and short video content e-commerce. Our vision is to make affordable and high-quality products easily accessible, enhancing the quality of life for all. We are actively seeking Tech Lead Managers to contribute to our team's growth and product success. The team is responsible for developing all of TTS South East Asia businesses - which will involve exciting projects covering user growth, homepage, discovery channel. You'll be tasked with creating a Global E-Commerce Shopping Platform, collaborating closely with engineers around the globe. Responsibilities - Responsible for managing both the Southeast Asia E-Commerce's User Product and Marketing Product backend tech team in Singapore. - Responsible for designing the architecture of technical solutions and providing technical support for engineers in the team. - Align with product and organisation's objectives, and coordinate with cross-functional teams on delivering key results. - Define long term technical roadmap for the team. - Contribute to technical decisions on projects among the product. - Oversee the acquisition and development of software systems in organisational units. - Monitor the results and quality of the different software solutions and projects implemented in the organisation.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualification - Bachelor's or higher degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Programming & System Analysis, Science (Computer Studies) or related discipline. - 2+ years managing or leading a software engineering team. - 5+ years of large scale backend system development experience. Preferred Qualification - Experience in promotion growth field and e-commerce. - Strong business understanding ability, strong technical learning and transfer ability, strong sense of responsibility, good communication and teamwork skills.
