From designing scaled sales and service delivery programs to ensuring our customers have tailored tools and products at their fingertips, our SMB team combines operational expertise with a customer-centric mindset to help businesses achieve their marketing goals on TikTok, no matter how big or small. The SMB Global Business Operation (GBO) team aims to establish and maintain OKR alignment, project management standards and best practices, ensuring that key strategic directions for Global SMB are executed efficiently. The GBO team works in close collaboration with Sales, Product and Marketing teams together to provide scalable solutions to our clients. We are building a team of self-starters, motivated individuals who thrive in a fast-paced environment. You have an appetite for learning, innovation, and are comfortable solving challenging problems, with the solutions to benefit SMB teams across global regions and markets. You will be responsible for defining project goals and scopes, driving clear and efficient communication across diverse functions and regions, continuously optimizing our business solutions for global clients. About the Role: We are looking for a data-driven and business-minded Business Analyst to join TikTok’s SMB Ads team. In this role, you will support the strategic growth and operational excellence of our SMB advertising business through data insights, performance tracking, and business modeling. You will work cross-functionally with product, sales, marketing, and operations teams to build analytical frameworks, track business health, surface actionable insights, and support key decision-making. Responsibilities: - Build and maintain a robust business intelligence framework to monitor key performance and support SMB Ads OKRs; - Deliver recurring and ad-hoc analysis reports to support strategic and operational decisions; - Analyze advertiser behavior, campaign data, and customer lifecycle to identify growth drivers and potential risks; - Partner with sales, product, and operations teams to design and evaluate business strategies and drive operational efficiency; - Support annual/quarterly business planning and performance reviews with data-driven recommendations; - Continuously improve data tools, reporting processes, and collaboration workflows.


Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications: - 2+ years of experience in data analytics, business intelligence, strategy consulting, or related roles—experience in internet or digital advertising preferred; - Strong SQL skills for data extraction and transformation; familiarity with Python or R is a plus; - Proficiency in data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, ThinkCell); - Strong analytical thinking and ability to translate data into business actions; - Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills; - Self-starter mentality with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving environment. Preferred Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree or above in Statistics, Business Analytics, Economics, Computer Science, or related fields; - Experience supporting digital advertising, media performance, or customer segmentation projects; - Prior exposure to SMB advertisers or international markets; - Familiarity with OKR frameworks and experience in setting up analytical metrics from scratch

【For Pay Transparency】Compensation Description (Annually)

The base salary range for this position in the selected city is $128000 - $244888 annually.

Compensation may vary outside of this range depending on a number of factors, including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies and experience, and location. Base pay is one part of the Total Package that is provided to compensate and recognize employees for their work, and this role may be eligible for additional discretionary bonuses/incentives, and restricted stock units.

Benefits may vary depending on the nature of employment and the country work location. Employees have day one access to medical, dental, and vision insurance, a 401(k) savings plan with company match, paid parental leave, short-term and long-term disability coverage, life insurance, wellbeing benefits, among others. Employees also receive 10 paid holidays per year, 10 paid sick days per year and 17 days of Paid Personal Time (prorated upon hire with increasing accruals by tenure).
