Responsibilities
TikTok Shop is seeking a dynamic and highly analytical candidate to oversee our Live Streaming initiatives. This role requires a strategic thinker with strong project management and data analysis skills to drive our live streaming projects in the market. You will be responsible for managing cross-functional teams, developing strategies, and ensuring the successful execution of live streaming initiatives. We are looking for an experienced Live Lead to join our team in London. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of live streaming, content operations, and influencer management. Responsibility - Build, manage, and mentor a high-performing team to identify, onboard, and support high-potential merchants and creators across European markets, driving the success of live-streaming initiatives. - Develop and execute strategic growth plans to scale the live-streaming ecosystem, including merchant acquisition, creator development, and audience engagement strategies. - Provide live-streaming education, training, and strategic guidance to internal teams, merchants, and creators; oversee daily live-streaming operations to ensure high GMV (Gross Merchandise Value), sustainable growth, and premium content quality. - Lead cross-functional collaboration with key stakeholders—including Campaigns, Affiliates, Product, Recommendation Algorithms, and Platform Governance—to unlock sales opportunities and amplify live-streaming impact. - Monitor live-streaming performance metrics across multiple countries, leverage data insights to drive continuous improvement, and set long-term strategic goals for content, operations, and ecosystem development. - Drive key strategic projects and policy initiatives to strengthen merchant and creator engagement, enhance platform competitiveness, and expand market share.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications - Proven experience in team leadership and people management, with the ability to inspire, coach, and develop high-performing teams. - Deep understanding of live-streaming platforms, with hands-on experience in live-streaming operations, content management, or influencer/creator management. - Strong strategic thinking and business acumen, with a track record of setting and achieving ambitious growth or sales targets. - Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills; ability to translate data into actionable strategies and make data-driven decisions. - Self-driven, results-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-growth environment. - Strong adaptability and resilience in the face of uncertainty, with the ability to thrive in rapidly changing conditions. Preferred Qualifications - Proven success in driving engagement, audience growth, or revenue through live-streaming. - Experience in e-commerce, entertainment, or social media industries, ideally within the European market. - Strong cross-functional collaboration experience, working with product, marketing, or algorithm/recommendation teams.
