Team Introduction: The mission of TikTok's Global Security Organization is to build and earn trust by reducing risk and securing our businesses and products. Also known as "GSO", this team is the foundation of our efforts to keep TikTok safe, secure, and operating at scale for over 1 billion people around the world. In whatever ways users interact with us — whether they're watching videos on their For You page, interacting with a Live video, or buying products on TikTok Shop — GSO protects their data and privacy, so they can have a secure and trustworthy experience. We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Identity & Access Management (IAM) Architect to serve as a subject matter expert (SME) within our IAM team. In this role, you will lead the design, implementation, and ongoing management of enterprise IAM solutions. You will work closely with security leadership, IT, legal, compliance, and business stakeholders to ensure IAM initiatives align with organizational goals, regulatory requirements, and security best practices. Key Responsibilities: - Act as a key liaison between the IAM teams in the US and Singapore and various IT and business units in China and the Singapore region to drive the IAM program forward. - Collaborate with infrastructure, application, platform, and security teams to assess the current state of IAM solutions and identify areas for improvement or remediation. - Partner with business stakeholders to promote awareness, adoption, and integration of IAM capabilities across systems and applications. - Work closely with IAM product teams developing in-house solutions across Authentication, Authorization, Privileged Access Management (PAM), and Secrets Management to deliver robust and scalable IAM capabilities. - Support internal and external audits by ensuring appropriate access controls are in place and well-documented, and by providing necessary evidence for compliance. - Provide technical leadership, mentorship, and guidance to junior team members, fostering knowledge-sharing and skill development.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications: - In-depth understanding of core IAM domains, including Authentication, Authorization, Identity Governance & Administration (IGA), Privileged Access Management (PAM), and Identity Threat Detection & Response (ITDR). - Proven experience in designing and deploying IAM solutions in large-scale, complex enterprise environments. - Hands-on experience designing and building IAM capabilities, particularly in the Authentication and Single Sign-On (SSO) domain. - Strong familiarity with cloud-based IAM and PAM solutions across Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP). - Proficiency in scripting and automation, using tools such as PowerShell, Python, and RESTful APIs to integrate and streamline IAM workflows. - Demonstrated ability to build strategic partnerships with globally distributed teams and influence roadmaps to deliver impactful IAM solutions. - Experience leading and mentoring a technical team of 3–5 developers and analysts, providing direction, oversight, and guidance. Preferred Qualifications: - 5+ years of experience in Cybersecurity or IT Infrastructure, with at least 3 years of focused experience in Identity & Access Management (IAM). - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related technical discipline. - Demonstrated ability to work independently and effectively with cross-regional, global teams. - Hands-on software development experience in IAM, including the design and implementation of IAM features or tools.
