About The Team Our mission is to build a world where people can safely discover, create and connect. The AI Data Service and Eco Operations (ADSEO) team is responsible for the operation of security model training, and iteration under TikTok and other international products, to ensure product security and create a good atmosphere for content creation and community interaction. You will have the opportunity to join the fast-growing space of AI and contribute to the development of cutting-edge products. ADSEO - In House SME will serve as a key liaison between internal and external stakeholders, offering guidance on policy, supporting performance monitoring, and providing essential reports that contribute to team success and growth. The SME is responsible for ensuring that all project performance metrics, specifically Output and Accuracy, are consistently monitored and maintained Responsibilities SME will support high performance and operational efficiency by: - Driving project performance (especially focus projects) excellence through independent ownership and cross-functional collaboration. - Master the operations of company backend systems for moderation, labeling, etc. - Delivering regular performance reports and leading RCA escalations and improvement initiatives. - Managing queue efficiency via TCS, Label, Start.AI, addressing resource gaps, and supporting daily team operations. - Enhancing SOPs, onboarding materials, and legacy processes in collaboration with stakeholders. - Supporting policy knowledge through queue moderation, tests, interviews, and team development initiatives. - Deputise as Team Leader when needed, assisting with operational tasks and performance monitoring etc. - Collaborate with Team Leads to further develop internal structures for performance management, team, and individual growth.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications - 1 year of experience in QA, policy, or Trust & Safety, skilled in labeling workflows, content moderation, and machine learning. - Proficiency in English and Japanese as working languages. - Strong understanding of individual/project performance metrics. Experienced in managing projects from planning to execution, ensuring timely delivery and measurable outcomes. - Strong communicator with collaboration and leadership skills; experienced in mentoring, training, and engaging with all levels of stakeholders. - Proficient in Microsoft Office (plus tools like Byte Works, Data Power), with a passion for growth, supporting others, and taking on new challenges. Preferred Qualification - Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent education/qualification).
