Responsibilities

TikTok Gaming-Regional Operations-Japan aims to make live streaming a part of the culture. We are a group of people who are highly motivated to grow and develop. In TikTok Gaming, you will be responsible for planning and executing PGC / UGC events by leveraging the ecosystem of TikTok Gaming × Game Publishers × Game Live Creators. Through close communication with game publishers, you will gain a deep understanding of their needs and design engaging event concepts centered around game live streaming and viewing experiences. By activating game live creators, you will create growth opportunities for creators while building strong partnerships with publishers. This role plays a key part in growing the overall volume of the TikTok LIVE gaming category together with publishers as a trusted long-term partner. - Plan, execute, analyze, and optimize PGC / UGC events for game publishers by leveraging the TikTok LIVE platform and game live creators. - Build and maintain strong relationships with game publisher partners, including business scheme design and contract negotiations. - Understand publishers’ goals and expectations while balancing risks and benefits, strengthen strategic partnerships, activate title-based communities on TikTok LIVE, and create opportunities for long-term collaborations. - Create compelling, data-driven presentation materials and event proposals that clearly communicate value and resonate with partners. - Set up events on the platform, aggregate and analyze performance data, produce reports, and conduct post-event reviews to evaluate outcomes against defined goals and identify areas for improvement. - Manage and execute event planning and operations for multiple game titles in parallel, while collaborating closely with global teams to ensure smooth and efficient execution. - Drive initiatives to achieve milestones defined within the TikTok LIVE gaming business framework and contribute to the overall growth of the business.


Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications: - Based in or willing to work from the Tokyo office - Fluent Japanese, with business-level English - Bachelor’s degree or above, with 4+ years of professional experience - Strong interest in and solid understanding of the live streaming and gaming ecosystem - Proven experience planning, executing, and analyzing events end-to-end - Relevant background in gaming, live streaming, SNS, web platforms, advertising agencies, MCNs, or related industries - Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work in a diverse, international environment and generate innovative live event ideas Preferred Qualifications: - Experience in the game live streaming industry - Experience using SNS analytics tools and conducting data analysis
