Responsibilities
This role leads TikTok Korea’s flagship (tentpole) events, including TikTok Awards, Creator Summit, Content Partner Summit, and global industrial events. The Content Programs team is responsible for planning and executing high-impact events that strengthen relationships with creators, content partners, and the broader industry ecosystem. Working in close collaboration with Local, Regional, and Headquarters teams, the team delivers strategically aligned, large-scale events that represent TikTok’s most visible and influential initiatives in Korea. We are looking for someone who strongly aligns with ByteStyle and demonstrates integrity, along with a proactive, ownership-driven, and execution-focused way of working. This role will be based in Seoul. Responsibilities - Plan, develop, and execute TikTok Korea’s flagship events and programs end to end (e.g. TikTok Awards, Creator Summit, Content Partner Summit, global industrial events) - Lead the full event lifecycle including concept development, preparation, execution, and post-event review - Manage key operational components such as staffing, budget planning and tracking, venue sourcing, and overall program management - Design and operate on-site activities, sessions, and event experiences aligned with event objectives and audience needs - Source, coordinate, and manage artists, creators, speakers, and partners directly or through external agencies - Manage external vendors and agencies to ensure quality delivery, timeline adherence, and budget control - Work closely with cross-functional teams (Content, Creator, Partnerships, Comms, Legal, Finance, etc.) to ensure alignment and smooth execution - Act as a primary point of contact to align internal and external stakeholder needs and drive clear outcomes - Evaluate event performance, identify areas for improvement, and share actionable insights with key stakeholders
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications - BA/BS degree or equivalent practical experience - 5 years of experience in event management, program management, or large-scale project execution - Proven experience planning and executing large-scale, high-profile events from start to finish - Hands-on experience managing external agencies and vendors - Strong operational skills in budget, resource, and timeline management - Excellent written and verbal communication skills in Korean and English Preferred Qualifications - Experience working at a major advertising agency (e.g. integrated, creative, or experiential agencies) - Experience operating large-scale events at a content or digital platform company - Experience working in tech, media, entertainment, or platform-based environments - Experience sourcing and managing talent such as artists, creators, or speakers - Ability to work effectively in a fast-changing environment with resilience - Proven ability to manage multiple projects independently with strong attention to detail - Experience working in global or regional teams across multiple time zones
