About the team We are looking for entrepreneurial spirits to join our Monetization Strategy and Operations (MSO) team. You will have a pivotal opportunity to shape monetization efforts in Japan. In this role, you will partner with sales and cross-functional leaders to evaluate performance and strategize for the future. The MSO organization delivers business-critical insights through data-driven analytics and external research ensures the alignment of goals and execution across various functions, and supports teams in advancing strategic partnerships. We stay focused on aligning the highest-level company priorities with effective day-to-day operations, and help evolve early stage ideas into future-growth initiatives. We’re looking for a Strategy & Operations Associate to drive analytics initiatives and cross-team collaboration that elevates operational excellence for our Japan business. Responsibilities - Serve as the strategic partner for the Japan management team across sales, product, and marketing to develop both long-term monetization strategies and short-term business plans to achieve sustainable revenue growth - Provide leadership with clear visibility into business and revenue performance, manage performance analysis and reporting, and oversee the cadence of business reviews - Define key performance metrics and set KPIs to drive business growth. Track business progress and provide consistent optimization for business operation - Conduct comprehensive external research on competitors, industry and macro movements, to enable the business to identify market trends, growth opportunities, and key value drivers effectively - Collaborate with cross-functional teams in Japan and APAC to ensure effective cooperation on key initiatives including new business launches in Japan


Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications: - Business level Japanese and English is a must - More than 2+ years of work experience in management consulting, sales strategy, investment banking, or related roles. Experience in high-growth tech startups and digital advertising will be preferred - Demonstrate robust research and analytical skills. Proficiency in SQL programming is a plus - Be a skilled project manager and a high-EQ team player with excellent stakeholder management and communication (both written and verbal) skills, adept at navigating complex cross-team, cross-region collaborations - Fast learner, highly entrepreneurial with a good sense of judgment and original thinking
