Responsibilities
Creators are the heart and soul of TikTok. The Creator team's mission is to facilitate our Creator community's growth and development, drive high quality content production and increase creator engagement and product adoption through scaled content and education programs. This team will also create scalable initiatives to build, celebrate, and recognize our diverse and inclusive communities around the world. As Manager, Creator Acquisition & Development, you will support and execute the acquisition, onboarding, and development of high-quality creators in Korea, including digital-first creators and studio-led creators. This role focuses on day-to-day creator operations, partnership execution, and program delivery to ensure creators successfully adopt the platform and grow sustainably. You will work closely with internal cross-functional teams such as Product, Content, Marketing, and Operations, and collaborate externally with creators, MCNs, and production partners. This role requires strong execution capability, operational discipline, and the ability to manage multiple creator initiatives in parallel. We are looking for someone who strongly aligns with ByteStyle and demonstrates integrity, along with a proactive, ownership-driven, and execution-focused way of working. This role will be based in Seoul. Key Responsibilities Creator Acquisition & Onboarding - Execute creator acquisition and onboarding programs to ensure smooth platform adoption and early-stage growth. - Support the identification and sourcing of high-potential creators aligned with platform priorities. - Manage creator onboarding processes, documentation, and operational readiness. Creator Development & Operations - Operate creator development programs focused on content quality improvement, engagement, and performance growth. - Provide day-to-day support to creators, addressing operational issues and coordinating internal support as needed. - Track creator performance and flag risks or opportunities for stakeholders. - Own assigned creator programs and drive execution outcomes with minimal supervision. Creator Partnerships & Collaboration - Support the execution of partnerships with creators, MCNs, and production studios. - Act as a day-to-day point of contact for creators and partners, ensuring clear communication and smooth collaboration. - Assist with negotiations, contract execution, and partnership operations in coordination with Legal and team members. Product Program Execution & Operations - Execute and operate creator-facing product programs launched by Headquarters Product teams, ensuring smooth local rollout and high creator participation. - Support product teams by providing on-the-ground execution insights, creator feedback, and operational learnings to improve program effectiveness. - Coordinate with local and regional operations teams to deliver scaled product adoption programs according to defined execution frameworks. - Track program performance, adoption metrics, and operational issues, and proactively surface risks and improvement opportunities. - Maintain program documentation, trackers, and execution plans to support consistent and scalable delivery. Cross-Functional Collaboration - Work closely with Product, Content, Marketing, Operations, and regional teams to deliver creator programs effectively. - Collect creator and partner feedback and share structured insights with internal stakeholders to improve tools and workflows. - Support the local execution of global creator initiatives and programs. Performance Tracking & Operations - Track and report performance metrics related to creator acquisition, engagement, and growth. - Maintain operational documentation, program trackers, and internal reports. - Support continuous process improvement to increase efficiency and scalability of creator programs.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications - BA/BS degree or equivalent practical experience - 5+ years of experience in creator management, content operations, production, or digital media roles within tech, entertainment or media industries. - Hands-on experience supporting creator onboarding, partnerships, or content-related programs. - Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to manage multiple stakeholders; excellent written and verbal communication skills in Korean and English - Analytical mindset with the ability to track performance metrics and identify operational insights. - Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced, evolving environment. - Strong operational skills in program execution and coordination Preferred Qualifications - Experience working at a global tech, content platform, MCN, or digital media company. - Familiarity with creator tools, content workflows, and platform analytics. - Experience supporting cross-functional projects with Product or Marketing teams. - Proven ability to operate independently with creativity, attention to detail, and execution excellence - Ability to thrive in a collaborative, ambiguous, and execution-driven environment. - Experience working closely with global stakeholders across regions and time zones.
