We aim to meet our users’ needs with reliable and high-performing platforms and services. We are looking for strong machine learning engineers who are excited to grow their business understanding, build highly scalable machine learning models, and partner across disciplines with global teams, in pursuit of excellence. Given the fast growth of TikTok in the world, we are working on building a next-generation content understanding system for TikTok monetization. We are seeking machine learning engineers at all levels experienced in machine learning, which can help us create an ecosystem that rewards high quality user experience and advertiser value. As a project intern, you will have the opportunity to engage in impactful short-term projects that provide you with a glimpse of professional real-world experience. You will gain practical skills through on-the-job learning in a fast-paced work environment and develop a deeper understanding of your career interests. Responsibilities - Design, implement, and optimize algorithms for AIGC-related applications (e.g., text, image, video, multimodal). - Develop and maintain production-ready code, ensuring efficiency, scalability, and robustness. - Collaborate with team members to integrate algorithms into existing systems and pipelines. - Conduct experiments, analyze results, and iterate on solutions to improve performance. - Stay up to date with relevant algorithmic techniques and engineering best practices.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications: - Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, or a related field. - Solid programming skills (e.g., Python, C++), with strong knowledge of data structures and algorithms. - Familiarity with machine learning fundamentals and at least one deep learning framework (e.g., PyTorch, TensorFlow). - Coursework or project experience in areas such as Computer Vision, NLP, or multimodal applications. - Strong problem-solving, analytical, and logical thinking abilities. - Good communication and collaboration skills, with a responsible and proactive work attitude. Preferred Qualifications: - Prior internship or project experience in developing and deploying ML/AI models. - Familiarity with large-scale systems, distributed training, or performance optimization. - Hands-on experience with AIGC-related tasks (e.g., text-to-image, video generation, LLM applications).
