About the team We are looking for entrepreneurial spirits to join our monetization strategy and operations (MSO) team. You will have a ground floor opportunity to shape monetization efforts in AUNZ. In this role, you will partner with cross-functional leaders to assess performance and plan for the future. The MSO organization provides business critical insights using analytics, ensures cross functional alignment of goals and execution, and helps teams drive strategic partnerships and new initiatives forward. We stay focused on aligning the highest-level company priorities with effective day-to-day operations, and help evolve early stage ideas into future-growth initiatives. Our team uses data analysis to help drive the company’s monetization strategy and operations. We’re looking for a Strategy & Operations Associate to drive strategic & analytics initiatives that guide operational excellence for our AUNZ business. As a project intern, you will have the opportunity to engage in impactful short-term projects that provide you with a glimpse of professional real-world experience. You will gain practical skills through on-the-job learning in a fast-paced work environment and develop a deeper understanding of your career interests. Applications will be reviewed on a rolling basis - we encourage you to apply early. Successful candidates must be able to commit to at least 3 months long internship period. - Lead performance reporting and business review cadences, providing insights and recommendations to management. - Monitor and analyze financial performance to ensure the ongoing financial health of business operations. - Conduct in-depth analyses using internal data as well as external primary and secondary sources to uncover key value drivers and identify growth opportunities. - Collaborate cross-functionally with monetization teams, sales and sales operations, international strategy, and data teams to bring analytical and strategic initiatives to completion. - Support optimization of business processes and policies to support the team’s growth and improve operational efficiency. - Support key projects and initiatives in collaboration with teams within AUNZ and across APAC
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications: - Possess or currently acquiring a Bachelor degree in STEM, data science, business analytics/management, engineering, computer science, or another quantitative major. - Demonstrate a strong analytical and quantitative aptitude, strong experience in excel modeling, and a keen interest in strategy. - Demonstrate solid project management skillset: handling and juggling multiple processes at once across different topics, functions and stakeholders - Demonstrate high-EQ team player capability and the ability to manage tough and confidential conversations with senior stakeholders Preferred Qualifications: - Possess a self-starter attitude: ability to initiate and drive complex analysis to completion with minimal guidance, while synthesizing and communicating insights effectively. - Possess knowledge of SQL programming and statistical modeling (preferred but not required). - Have experience in BI visualization tools such as Tableau and Looker (preferred but not required).
