We are looking for Seller and Product Listing Governance Strategy Managers to join our team to develop strategies/ policies to ensure quality and compliance across the seller and product listing lifecycle, while enabling businesses. As a Strategy Manager, you will develop policies, run and implement projects, and drive operational optimisation to improve users' shopping experience. You are highly analytical, able to conceptualise solutions from first principles, navigate ambiguity, and implement solutions swiftly. Responsibilities 1. Develop data-driven strategies and policies to enable the e-commerce business, evaluate sellers' behaviours, product listing trends, manage fulfillment and sellers' services. 2. Maintain a keen understanding of APAC and Japan market and regulatory conditions to inform strategy development. Responsible for sellers' and product listing as well as intellectual property compliance management, building up implementation processes and working closely with cross-functional partners -- such as Product and Algorithm teams -- to optimise enforcement systems. 3. Investigate escalations, review and implement our strategies and policies, taking into account our policies, business impact, and market conditions. 4. Ensure constant improvements of key metrics for seller, listing, and intellectual property risk mitigation, and enforcement accuracy. 5. Work to promote transparency and understanding of policies, including assessing seller plans of action in response to enforcement actions. 6. Act as an escalation point of contact and internal communications on all seller and listing governance issues. Support communications, enforcement actions, and data reporting for seller and listing enforcement and appeal programs.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualification(s) 1. Bachelor's or master's degree in fields such as Engineering, Analytics, Economics, Social Sciences, Law. 2. 4+ years experience developing, implementing, and managing policies and projects. 3. Professional experience in Ecommerce, Technology, Intellectual Property Protection, Strategy or Operations Management Consulting, Platform Governance, Trust and Safety Policy and Operations Management, Seller or Product Growth, Risk Analytics, Compliance, or Experience programmes. 4. Driven, excellent programme management and communication skills with the ability to plan for, and manage complex projects, as well as influence multiple cross-functional teams to build and launch new policies and workflows. 5. Familiarity with e-commerce, social media content landscape and ecosystem management – as well as strategic business sensitivity will be advantageous. 6. Demonstrate ability to analyze data, including using data to drive decision making. 7. Japan language N1 qualification and fluency is needed to accurately interpret and apply policy documentations relevant to ongoing GNE project within the Japanese-speaking market. Preferred Qualification(s) 1. Proven experience in data analysis such as SQL. 2. Experience from eCommerce or marketplace platforms is a plus.
