Responsibilities

About the Team The Search Operations team aims to improve search user experience, contribute significant DAU impact to the products and drive for increase in traffic and GMV. The Search Ads Ops team is dedicated to evaluating and optimizing search algorithms within search ads. Our team conducts thorough evaluations and investigations to ensure optimal performance and accuracy. Additionally, we manage labeling projects to train and refine our models, aiming to improve the relevance and effectiveness of search ads. Our goal is to drive revenue growth while maintaining a high-quality user experience, balancing commercial objectives with user satisfaction. We strive to deliver superior search ads solutions through continuous innovation and meticulous analysis. It is possible that this role will be exposed to harmful content as part of the core role/as part of project/ in response to escalation requests/by chance. This may occur in the form of images, video, and text related to every-day life, but it can also include (but is not limited to) bullying; hate speech; child safety; depictions of harm to self and others, and harm to animals. What will I be doing - Daily Data Sampling: Conduct timely inspections of labeled data to ensure overall data quality and accuracy. - Guideline Interpretation and Maintenance: Thoroughly interpret complex guidelines and consistently apply them to evaluated content. - Guideline Localization and Maintenance: Localize and update labeling guidelines as needed, and deliver training sessions and calibration meetings to ensure alignment. - Calibration Management (BPO/Vendor Collaboration): Lead calibration sessions with labeling teams (BPO/Vendors), including: - Analyzing diverse case scenarios - Recording and evaluating performance against quality targets - Providing actionable insights, solutions, and improvement plans to enhance accuracy and alignment - Stakeholder communication: Collaborate closely with POCs and cross-functional stakeholders to provide timely and high-quality feedback on SOPs, guidelines, and data quality. Contribute to process optimization and overall project success.


Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications - Bachelor’s degree or above - Relevant professional experience, preferably in data labeling, quality assurance, or quality improvement - Proficiency in both Korean and English (reading, writing, listening, and speaking) for daily business communication - Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional internal teams and external vendors - Project management capabilities, with familiarity in RCA (Root Cause Analysis) and data analysis - Ability to learn quickly, adapt to a fast-paced environment, and respond effectively to daily operational challenges - Strong interpersonal skills with exceptional attention to detail, precision, and accuracy Preferred Qualifications - Overseas work/training experience or experience in a multicultural/multilingual environment - Solid understanding of search engine mechanisms, AI, and machine learning concepts - Knowledge of the TikTok app, its features, and advertising-related services - Proficiency in common office software tools - Understanding of ByteStyle and corporate culture
