Responsibilities
TikTok Shop is an innovative marketplace fully integrated into TikTok. It brings together online sellers, buyers and creators - all within TikTok to build a one-stop, seamless shopping experience and bringing more commerce solutions that further enable our community to discover and engage with what they love. The Home and Living Strategy team's goal is to build strategies to support Home and Electronics merchants' growth. This includes policy building, data analysis, merchant management and special projects. Our team is constantly reinventing how we do things to meet the demands of our internal stakeholders and external clients. Within Home & Living, the Affiliate Strategist role will be part of the Home & Living industry team and will be responsible for the successful growth of creator-led sales on the platform for the sellers in our category. Joining the industry team will provide a holistic view of how we drive collaboration between sellers and creators to deliver the best experience to our customers on TikTok Shop . Responsibilities: - In charge of the growth of affiliate sales for the Home and Living categories - Ideate and launch affiliate projects for Home and Living categories to drive growth in creator-led sales on the platform. This includes collaborating with our affiliate management team to incubate creators focused on H&L content and partnering with agencies to drive content up. - Provide strategic recommendations by addressing key “where-to-play” and “how-to-win” questions, and design development roadmaps with clear milestones, performance targets, and resource plans - Conduct in-depth analysis of creator data to identify trends, opportunities, and actionable insights. Perform both routine and ad-hoc analyses to support business decisions — including merchandise tiering, creator matchmaking funnel optimisation, and other core growth drivers - Implement scaled creator operations strategy by using platform tools - Build and monitor the operational index; Facilitate periodical business reviews and reports
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications - Analytical, data driven, structured thinking and goal oriented; Ability to articulate thesis and strategies independently - Quick learner, proactive and resilient. Ability to cope well under pressure and thrive in ambiguous environments - Strong attention to detail with the ability to make fast decisions; effective and creative problem-solving skills - Ability to set priorities, multi-task and work independently - Strong written and oral communication skills - A commercial mindset with a passion for delivering against stretching performance goals Preferred Qualifications - Experience in social commerce or e-commerce operations/strategy. - Ability to influence others and be a resourceful problem solver - Experience working in a technology company or ecommerce creator agency, preferably in operations role - Ability and desire to solve complex problems with data and quantitative analytical experience
