About the team: TikTok's Scaled Growth team aims to help businesses and brands of all sizes unleash their creative side, connect with our audience, or perhaps be discovered! From designing scaled sales and service delivery programs to ensuring our customers have best-in-class tools and products at their fingertips, our Scaled Growth team combines operational expertise with a customer-centric mindset to help businesses achieve their marketing goals on TikTok, no matter how big or small. This role will oversee two agency-focused teams and drive sustainable revenue growth, product adoption, and long-term platform investment through agency partnerships. The ideal candidate brings deep expertise in digital advertising and agency leadership within Japan, strong executive presence, and a proven ability to build and lead high-performing sales organizations in fast-paced environments. Key Responsibilities - Define and execute the Japan Agency strategy and Go-to-Market plan to drive sustainable revenue growth through agency partnerships across holding companies and independent agencies. - Lead and manage two agency teams, building a high-performing organization focused on revenue growth, client success, and long-term agency partnerships. - Own Japan agency revenue targets, forecasting accuracy, and performance against aggressive growth goals. - Build and deepen executive-level relationships with key agency groups, including holding companies and independent agencies across the Japan market. - Structure and deliver strategic commercial partnerships and trading agreements with agency partners in collaboration with cross-functional teams. - Work closely with internal sales and account teams to define agency account plans that unlock advertiser investment and drive key performance outcomes. - Partner with cross-functional teams including Marketing, Product, Analytics, and Program Management to design and execute agency-focused initiatives. - Scale agency acquisition, activation, retention, and product adoption programs to accelerate platform investment. - Lead agency enablement initiatives, including education programs, product training, insights sharing, and measurement frameworks. - Translate product innovation into commercial impact by providing market feedback and insights to influence product development and go-to-market strategies. - Represent TikTok externally within the Japan advertising and media ecosystem, strengthening relationships with industry leaders and agencies.


Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications - Extensive leadership experience in digital advertising, media, or programmatic sales, including agency partnership roles. - Proven experience leading and scaling sales or agency development teams. - Strong experience managing strategic agency partnerships and executive-level relationships. - Demonstrated success driving revenue growth and exceeding sales targets. - Strong people management skills with the ability to lead multiple teams and influence cross-functional stakeholders. - Strong analytical mindset with the ability to interpret performance data and translate insights into strategic actions. - Deep understanding of the Japan digital advertising and agency ecosystem. Preferred Qualifications - Deep expertise in social media advertising, mobile marketing, and auction-based advertising platforms. - Strong network across Japan holding companies and independent agencies. - Experience working within a global matrix organization. - Strong commercial acumen and executive presence with the ability to influence senior stakeholders. - Passion for innovation and building scalable businesses in high-growth environments.
