Responsibilities
Team Introduction TikTok LIVE-Regional Operations-Japan aims to empower a safe, authentic, and inclusive LIVE environment and provide the best real-time experience that cultivates a sense of belonging, enhances real-life experience, enables diverse businesses and provides economic opportunities for people to interact in real-time. Members with high motivation to grow gather, and there is a culture of open discussion from a qualitative and quantitative point of view. As a project intern, you will have the opportunity to engage in impactful short-term projects that provide you with a glimpse of professional real-world experience. You will gain practical skills through on-the-job learning in a fast-paced work environment and develop a deeper understanding of your career interests. This internship role supports the design and execution of content-driven live-streaming events based on vertical content insights. By assisting in content planning, event operations, and cross-team coordination, the intern will help enhance creators’ traffic, engagement, and revenue performance while gaining hands-on experience in live-streaming event strategies. Key Responsibilities - Content-Driven Event Support · Assist in researching vertical content trends and user preferences. · Support the design of live-streaming event formats with strong content relevance. · Help optimize user viewing experience and engagement through content ideas and formats. · Participate in building and refining content-driven event operation frameworks. - Event Planning & Execution Support · Assist in event planning, including content ideation, scheduling, and execution support. · Coordinate with internal teams to ensure smooth event preparation and delivery. · Support promotional activities such as content preparation and campaign execution. - Viewer & Revenue-Oriented Analysis · Support the development of event mechanisms that improve user engagement and viewing time. · Assist in tracking basic performance metrics (e.g., views, engagement, conversions). · Help prepare post-event reports and insights for optimization.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications - Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s degree program or above in a domestic university in Japan - Able to commute to our Tokyo office (in-office work is assumed) - Business-level Japanese, English, and Chinese are required. - Business-level Japanese is required for daily communication with creators, partners and internal stakeholders in the Japan market. - Business-level English is required for cross-regional collaboration and global project alignment. - Chinese proficiency is required to coordinate closely with teams on content strategy, event planning and cross-border operations who are based in China, whose primary working language is Chinese. - Good analytical and communication skills to work in an international and diverse environment; detail-oriented and responsible - Ability to learn quickly and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
