Our primary focus is on mobile, product/developer, and connected screens, with ongoing opportunities to engage in other spaces and verticals About the role: The Distribution Partnerships Team is looking for a passionate and experienced technical project manager to lead the successful delivery of complex technical projects. Your experience in project management, software development, and technical expertise will be critical in ensuring the timely and efficient delivery of projects. This is a highly visible role and requires close cross-functional collaboration with operations, engineering, user growth, product, and data system teams. The ideal team member has a technical project management background with an interest in tech and can work across multiple time zones, assiduously. This high-speed role requires you to have a global mindset with a great deal of complex problem-solving across time zones and a tireless entrepreneurial spirit. We expect you to find solutions and create opportunities with a minimum of hand-holding. We are largely unencumbered by red tape, but the building process is a critical step towards scale — be prepared to build an organizational structure that empowers ongoing, sustainable growth. Responsibilities: - Become an expert in critical technical domains of partnership implementation. You don't need to be an engineer, but it helps if you can speak it as a second language. You will translate business case or partner needs into technical requirements that can then be translated back to non-technical teams. - Analyze and develop procedures for management and technical duties. Hold regular technical team meetings to determine progress and address any questions or challenges regarding projects - Project management: execute and manage projects by working closely with cross-functional stakeholders through an implementation plan. Create management, communication plans and processes. - Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders across User Growth, Product, Engineers, Legal, Operations, Marketing, and Business teams on the conceptualization, development, implementation, and go-to-market strategy of new partnership initiatives. - Work closely with the Distribution Business Development team to identify and execute potential collaborations, especially product-related pillars.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications - Bachelor's degree or above - At least 1 year of experience in project management in Tech, Telecom, OEM or Consumer electronics. - Communications - Exceptional communication skills across geographies, with ability to recognize and navigate the needs of internal stakeholders, with a focus on building and maintaining credibility - Technical Project Management - Strong technical project management skills and ability to manage large international (multicultural) projects end-to-end, meeting critical deadlines - Collaboration - delivering through other people and teams cross-functionally; and eager to understand their priorities and build relationships.At TikTok, your internal partners will include Marketing, User Growth, Operations, Sales, Product, Engineering and Legal. - Creativity - having creativity together with in-depth market knowledge and internal business goals will enable you to identify partnership opportunities and build out a compelling proposition that offers mutual value. - Influence - ability to pitch effectively and appropriately engage the relevant cross-functional partners to give life to those brilliant ideas. Preferred Qualifications - In-depth knowledge and experience in mobile industry technologies and trends, and proven track record of successfully leading and implementing key innovation programs within the industry. - Strong internal communication skills -- be able to recognize the needs and concerns of internal stakeholders and navigate through it. - Powerful documentation, storytelling and research skills. - Product manager experience in Tech is a plus.
