Responsibilities
E-commerce’s Governance and Experience (GNE) organization is dedicated to building a safe, sustainable, and high-trust marketplace where every customer enjoys a seamless purchase experience. External Affairs team was set up in 2025 to serve as the external voice of Governance and Experience (GNE), protect and elevate TikTok Shop's reputation through outreach to external stakeholders including regulators, trade/industry groups and global brands with influence over such external stakeholders. Responsibilities - Represent GNE in external engagements with government relations (GR), public relations (PR), and brand relations teams. - Cultivate trusted relationships with key global brands to strengthen credibility within the EU rights holders community. - Establish and maintain close partnerships with key industry associations, trade organizations, and regulatory bodies in the fields of intellectual property and product safety. - Support the Global External Affairs team in designing and delivering global initiatives aimed at enhancing trust with external stakeholders, especially regulators. - Collaborate closely with the related team. - Collect and communicate feedback from external stakeholders on compliance requirements, and ensure timely implementation of ad-hoc measures to maintain ongoing compliance.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualification(s): - 5+ years of experience in GNE or regulatory compliance. - Strong communication skills. Preferred Qualification(s): - Experience in external engagements with regulators and/or rights owners.
