About the team We are looking for entrepreneurial spirits to join our monetization strategy and operations (MSO) team. You will have a ground floor opportunity to shape monetization efforts in Japan. In this role, you will partner with cross-functional leaders to assess performance and plan for the future. The MSO organization provides business critical insights using analytics, ensures cross functional alignment of goals and execution, and helps teams drive strategic partnerships and new initiatives forward. We stay focused on aligning the highest-level company priorities with effective day-to-day operations, and help evolve early stage ideas into future-growth initiatives. Our team uses data analysis to help drive the company’s monetization strategy and operations. We’re looking for a Strategy & Operations Associate to drive analytics initiatives that guide operational excellence for our Japan business. Responsibilities - Partner with the Japan management team, to shape TikTok's mid-to-long term commercial incentive strategy with key partners to drive business growth - Conduct thorough market research and analysis to identify emerging trends of competitors' deal offering, evaluate effectiveness and incorporate into TikTok's deal design - Define monetary incentive structure and service value added to support TikTok's partners' business expansion - Liaise with cross-functional counterparties across legal, finance, tax to drive deal implementation - Tactical short-term booster program design, aiming to capture short-term revenue opportunity - Budget planning, including establishing tracking dashboards, conducting ROI measurement and post-program analysis - Design incentive plan together with Japan management team to drive sales behavior and business growth
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications: - 3+ years of work experience in a tech company, strategy consulting firms or financial instituitions - Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills, and proactiveness in problem-solving - Strong analytical skills Preferred Qualifications: - Fast learner, highly entrepreneurial with good sense of judgment and original thinking - Experience in digital advertising with a great understanding of advertising products is preferred - Experience in commercial deal designing is preferred
