About SMB Business Operations/Projects: TikTok's SMB Business Operations team plays a critical role in enabling efficient, scalable growth across EMEA. We work closely with Sales, Growth & Acquisition, and Marketing teams to drive strategic initiatives that help businesses of all sizes thrive on TikTok. This internship sits within the New Business workstream and offers hands-on exposure to how a global tech platform identifies and develops its advertiser pipeline. About the Role: This is an operational and analytical internship designed for a curious, detail-oriented graduate/intern who is eager to get stuck into meaningful work from day one. You will play a key supporting role in TikTok's New Business efforts, helping to manage and enrich a high-volume pipeline of inbound leads and advertiser accounts. This is not a client-facing role, but it is a great stepping stone for someone who is open to a customer-facing career path in the future. Key Responsibilities: - Work through a high-volume leads pipeline, reviewing each lead individually to assess quality against TikTok's Ideal Customer Profile (ICP) - Conduct manual lead enrichment where information is incomplete, using tools such as Lusha, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, and other research platforms - Develop a solid understanding of what makes a strong SMB advertiser for TikTok, and apply that judgment consistently across the pipeline - Maintain accurate and up-to-date records across the leads module, flagging patterns or data quality issues to the Business Operations Lead - Support the broader Business Operations team with ad hoc project tasks, reporting, and analysis as needed - Collaborate with internal stakeholders to share findings and contribute to improving lead qualification processes As a project intern, you will have the opportunity to engage in impactful short-term projects that provide you with a glimpse of professional real-world experience. You will gain practical skills through on-the-job learning in a fast-paced work environment and develop a deeper understanding of your career interests. Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications - Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree or above. Applicants must be enrolled in their studies for the entire internship duration. - Available for 3-6 months. - Strong attention to detail and a methodical, process-driven approach to tasks - Comfortable working with data and spreadsheets; basic Excel skills required - Good written communication skills and confidence in summarising findings clearly - Some familiarity with CRM tools, sales platforms, or lead generation concepts - Work experience in a Advertising, Marketing, Operations or related fields Preferred Qualifications: - Studying an Business, Marketing, Communications, Data Analytics degree or a related discipline - An understanding of the SMB advertiser landscape - An interest in digital marketing, social media, or the tech industry
