Responsibilities
About the team: The Global Business Solutions (GBS) team is responsible for the revenue growth of the TikTok business, and our teams include Sales, Marketing, Ops, Account Managers, Agency and partnerships. At TikTok, our Global Business Solutions (GBS) team plays a key role in generating revenue by promoting our advertising solutions, onboarding new clients, driving ad campaigns, and more. As the TikTok community grows at an unprecedented speed around the world, our GBS team leads groundbreaking projects that are changing the landscape of the advertising industry in real time. Key Responsibilities: - Lead the Apps & Entertainment unit within the Apps & Gaming division - Manage and grow a team of client partners focused on non-gaming apps, media, and entertainment clients - Own unit revenue targets, forecasting accuracy, and performance against quotas, leveraging market intelligence and performance data to develop annual and long-range planning. - Lead and Partner with cross-functional teams to structure and execute operational and strategic initiatives - Define and execute sales and go-to-market strategies for the Apps & Entertainment segment in Japan - Provide thought-leadership and mentorship to your team, leveraging experience in vertical and industry
Qualifications
Minimum Qualification(s): - 5+ years of experience in digital advertising, ad sales, or brand marketing - Proven track record of meeting or exceeding revenue targets in a fast-paced, high-growth environment - Strong analytical thinking with the ability to interpret data, identify trends, and translate insights into actionable strategies - Proficiency in pipeline management, sales forecasting, and business reporting - Strong team player who actively supports colleagues and contributes to a positive, inclusive team culture Preferred Qualification(s): - Strong knowledge of performance marketing, sales strategies, solutions, and products around the mobile app industry - Expertise in the mobile apps, media, and entertainment verticals - Experience in managing and coaching people - Strong hunter mindset - able to open new accounts, break into new categories, and grow whitespace - Ability to foster C-Level executive relationships with a genuine interest in customers’ success and to recruit and retain top talent
