Responsibilities

We aim to bring discovery, inspiration, and joy back to shopping by making TikTok the commerce channel of choice for merchants, creators, and affiliates. We are looking for passionate and talented people to join our product and operations team, to build an e-Commerce ecosystem that is innovative, secure and intuitive for our users and brands. In this role, you will: - Conduct research to identify product and business opportunities and execute independent studies on multiple aspects of user experiences. - Collect and analyze user behavior through user interviews, field visits, ethnography, surveys, benchmark studies, server logs, and online experiments (A/B testing). - Work closely with Product, Engineering, Algorithm, and Operations teams to prioritize research opportunities in a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment. - Understand and incorporate technical and business requirements into research. - Advocate research findings to diverse audiences through written reports and presentations.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualification(s) - 1+ years of experience in UX Research, with experience utilizing or understanding various research methods (e.g., usability studies, contextual inquiry, surveys, etc.). - Relevant research experience in exploring end-to-end user journeys, user behaviors, or problem-solving within a business context. - A proactive fast learner with a strong sense of ownership over assigned projects. - Ability to solve problems using data and bring creative, out-of-the-box thinking to the team. - Passionate about contributing to and building an outstanding and industry-leading design and research community. Preferred Qualification(s) - Passionate about e-Commerce business, products, and user experiences. - Strong interest or experience in translating user insights into actionable recommendations that drive real-world business and product changes. - Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and navigating open-ended problems.
