Responsibilities
TikTok’s social product roles focus on core scenarios in international short-form video social media and private messaging, covering three major areas: basic social interaction, commercial private messaging systems, and AI-driven visual social innovation. These roles play a critical role in enhancing the social experience, community engagement, and commercial conversion for users worldwide. We are looking for talented individuals to join us for an internship. Our internship program offers students hands-on experience, industry exposure, and opportunities to apply their knowledge to real-world challenges while building a strong foundation for personal and professional growth. Interns will gain practical experience, explore potential career paths, and participate in social events, learning programs, and development workshops alongside industry professionals. Responsibilities - Collaborate closely with engineering, design, and data science teams to define product requirements and deliver high-quality social features. - Conduct user research and analyze product and behavioral data to identify user needs, interaction gaps, and opportunities to improve the social experience. - Develop and maintain the product roadmap for social initiatives, prioritizing features based on user impact, strategic value, and business goals. - Monitor product performance and key social metrics, and use data-driven insights to iterate on and optimize product features. - Stay current on industry trends, emerging social behaviors, and competitor products to inform product strategy and innovation.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualification(s) - Currently pursuing a Undergraduate degree in computer science, engineering, design, data science, or related fields. - Exposure to consumer-facing products. - Strong interest in social media, content ecosystems, and user experience design. - Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills. - Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to build trust and work effectively across cross-functional teams. Preferred Qualification(s) - Prior internship, project, or hands-on experience in product management. - Experience contributing to product development from concept to launch. - Familiarity with data analysis tools, experimentation, and product metrics. - Strong interest in global social products, user interaction design, and community engagement.

【For Pay Transparency】Compensation Description (Hourly) - Campus Intern
The hourly rate range for this position in the selected city is $35- $35.
Benefits may vary depending on the nature of employment and the country work location. Interns have day one access to health insurance, life insurance, wellbeing benefits and more. Interns also receive 10 paid holidays per year and paid sick time (56 hours if hired in first half of year, 40 if hired in second half of year). Interns who are not working 100% remote may also be eligible for housing allowance.
