About The Team: This team is responsible to be focus on developing short term and long term cost targets and related indicators of each business to ensure a reasonable cost structure and accurate data in order to drive growth and improve the end customer experience. We are seeking Category Manager to join our team in Korea. Together we are building a commerce ecosystem that is innovative, secure and intuitive for our users and brands. The TikTok commerce team is responsible for the success of key partners on the platform and their responsibility spans across multiple areas. Key responsibilities include: Responsibilities: - Own end-to-end commercial performance for your categories. - Develop category strategy and define growth priorities. - Analyze market trends, consumer insights and competitive landscape. - Identify assortment gaps and build category roadmap. - Drive category campaigns and seasonal initiatives. - Partner with cross-functional teams to optimize product, logistics and user experience. - Continuously improve commerce performance KPIs, selection and profitability. - Build scalable solutions to support long-term category growth.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications - Strong network of Korean partners and strong knowledge of the Korean industry landscape, consumer demands, digital evolution and mobile transformation. - Strong interpersonal skills, excellent communication and negotiation skills, logical thinking, and analytical skills. - Customer service orientation and experience working in a client-facing capacity. - Strong sense of social content (livestream and short-video is a preference). - Fluent in English and Korean; Cross cultural communication and collaboration skills working cross functionally in a global working environment. Preferred Qualifications: - Eager to win, growth driven, business mindset, result driven. - Collaborative and open to changes and challenges and learn. - A fast learner with a good sense of judgment and original thinking. -Ability to thrive in ambiguity and adapt quickly to change.
