Responsibilities
The procurement team undertake logistics-related service and physical procurement as well as service provider management work in line with the development of logistics business. Be responsible for the price competitiveness of procurement services while meeting business requirements, and maintain relationships with service providers to ensure long-term and stable cooperation. Responsibilities - Develop and execute multi-year packaging sourcing strategies covering supplier segmentation, dual-sourcing, regional sourcing, and supply allocation across fulfillment nodes. - Lead end-to-end sourcing activities, including supplier identification, RFQs/RFPs, reverse auctions, commercial evaluation, negotiation, contracting, and supplier implementation. - Build should-cost models across key packaging cost drivers, including board, resin, conversion, freight, tooling, and other manufacturing inputs. - Manage index-linked pricing mechanisms and challenge unsupported supplier price increases. - Negotiate multi-million-dollar supplier agreements and deliver measurable cost savings, cost avoidance, and total-cost-of-ownership improvements. - Drive packaging optimization initiatives, including right-sizing, cartonization, dimensional-weight reduction, void-fill reduction, and cube-per-order improvement. - Evaluate and source packaging materials compatible with automation solutions such as auto-baggers, box-on-demand, fit-to-size, and other automated packaging equipment. - Support sustainable packaging initiatives, including recyclable materials, recycled-content targets, plastic reduction, and paper-for-plastic conversions. - Develop supplier inventory and continuity programs, including VMI, consignment, capacity reservation, and qualified backup sourcing. - Monitor supplier financial health, capacity, quality, delivery, raw-material exposure, and geopolitical risks, and drive corrective actions when needed. - Partner with Fulfillment Operations, Transportation, Engineering, Finance, Marketing, Sustainability, and other cross-functional teams to align packaging decisions with operational and business requirements. - Track and report sourcing savings, cost avoidance, supplier performance, packaging optimization, and damage-rate improvements to supply chain leadership.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualification(s): - Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Packaging Science, Engineering, Business, or a related field. - 5+ years of experience in strategic sourcing, procurement, or category management, including at least 3 years of direct packaging sourcing experience. - Direct sourcing experience in corrugated, flexible packaging, protective packaging, mailers, or other fulfillment packaging categories. - Proven experience leading end-to-end sourcing processes, including RFQs/RFPs, supplier evaluation, negotiation, contracting, and implementation. - Demonstrated track record of negotiating multi-million-dollar contracts and delivering measurable savings. - Strong experience with should-cost modeling, total-cost-of-ownership analysis, and packaging cost drivers. - Strong supplier management, analytical, negotiation, communication, and stakeholder-management skills. Preferred Qualification(s): - Experience sourcing packaging for e-commerce, retail, fulfillment, logistics, or other high-volume distribution environments. - Global sourcing experience across multiple countries or regions. - Experience with packaging automation, right-sizing, cartonization, or dimensional-weight optimization. - Experience managing index-linked pricing for containerboard, paper, resin, or other packaging commodities. - Experience with VMI, consignment, supplier capacity planning, or supply continuity programs. - Knowledge of sustainable packaging, recycled-content materials, recyclability, and plastic-reduction initiatives.

【For Pay Transparency】Compensation Description (Annually)
The base salary range for this position in the selected city is $115520 - $258400 annually.
Compensation may vary outside of this range depending on a number of factors, including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies and experience, and location. Base pay is one part of the Total Package that is provided to compensate and recognize employees for their work, and this role may be eligible for additional discretionary bonuses/incentives, and restricted stock units.
Benefits may vary depending on the nature of employment and the country work location. Employees have day one access to medical, dental, and vision insurance, a 401(k) savings plan with company match, paid parental leave, short-term and long-term disability coverage, life insurance, wellbeing benefits, among others. Employees also receive 10 paid holidays per year, 10 paid sick days per year and 17 days of Paid Personal Time (prorated upon hire with increasing accruals by tenure).
